The Education Institute is an initiative geared to make biblical study, sound doctrine, and spiritual formation accessible to Christians in the midst of an ever-increasing demand on their time. Each year, the Education Institute will consist of three 10-week courses. For the 2009-10 Cycle the three courses that will be offered are: Beliefs that Guide Us, Hymnology, and Introduction to Bible. The three courses will be offered multiple times throughout the year; as a consequence, a participant who commits to attend the institute on a particular day and time will have the opportunity to successfully attend all three courses.
Objectives of the Program >>>
1. Participants will explore various aspects of church leadership, theology, and history.
2. Participants will identify ways to nurture their spirituality.
3. Participants will feel a sense of ownership in their spiritual education.
4. Participants will determine to offer their spiritual gifting and natural talents to edify their local congregation.
5. Participants will develop relationships with their instructors and peers.
