The Youth Advisory Team serves as an administrative committee for Metropolitan’s Youth Ministry. The Youth Advisory Team fulfills its purpose as the Youth Ministry equips young people to love the Lord and each other.
PLANNERS
Some serve on the YAT team as planners. Planners attend 4-6 meetings a year. They brainstorm and create activities that help young persons grow spiritually, develop socially, benefit from mentors, and serve others in the community. Planners are not required to work directly with the youth.
IMPLEMENTERS
Some serve on the YAT as implementers. These persons work directly with the youth at Bible studies, sleepovers, service events, and travel with the youth to conventions, amusement parks, and field trips.
MENTORS
All YAT members serve as positive role models for the congregation’s youth.
