OUR MISSION
The mission of Women of the Church of God (WCG) is to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ, promote spiritual and personal growth, build friendship and interdependence, enlarge vision, encourage the stewardship of all of life, embrace the beliefs of the Church of God, and support the united ministries and beliefs of the Church of God through gifts of finance and leadership.
OUR MINISTRY
The ministry of WCG at Metropolitan Church of God functions to provide outreach support to all men and women, with specific emphasis on women’s spiritual and physical needs. The WCG is a ministry/organization that helps to equip women to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ, ‘go yea into all the world and preach the gospel’. We affirm women in the ministry and expansion of the roles of women in the church and society to affect the world for Jesus Christ. We reach out to women of all walks of life to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through ministries that serve them both spiritually and physically. We support women in our home congregation by giving emotional, social and sometimes monetary support, as we share the love of Christ. Community outreach includes: Genesis House, a program to aid young pregnant teens. Just Love Center, an inner city outreach program that serve homeless men and women. Our Sister to Sister ministry embraces young women 18-30 to come together and connect with all women through sisterhood,
COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Just Love Center, an inner city outreach program that serve homeless men and women Our Sister to Sister ministry embraces young women 18-30 to come together and connect with all women through sisterhood, missions, personal growth, and service. We provide a ministry of Helps within our local congregation. This ministry reaches out to members needing support in areas of visitation, shut-in assistance to our seniors, and comfort during times of family loss. Our ministry reaches out to the church and community through several programs we sponsor yearly. These programs are our Resale Shop, Senior Citizens Luncheon, and our Super Bake Sale Fund Raiser.
MEETING AND CONTACT INFORMATION
We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month at 10:00 am . Our meetings consist of varied sessions to meet the needs of our women. We have a business meeting every third quarter. For more information email WCG@Metropolitancog.org.
