A graduate of Anderson University (1963), and of The Central Baptist Theological Seminary (1967), Pastor Dulin has served the Metropolitan Church of God in Northwest Detroit since February of 1974. An active leader in the church at both state and national levels, he is involved in Detroit’s civic and community life. Currently, he is a member (by mayoral appointment), and the vice-chairman, of the board of directors of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. He is chairman of the board of directors of The Youth Sports and Recreation Commission. He is a member of the board of directors of Franklin Wright Settlements, Mid-Night Golf, Inc., and The Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (MOSES). His ministry career has taken him throughout the United States, and to Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Lebanon, England, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Mexico, The Virgin Islands, South Africa, and Senegal. He has received several awards including The Alumni Achievement Award (1974) from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Distinguished Alumni Award (1997) from Anderson University. During its May 2005 commencement exercises Anderson University conferred upon him the honorary degree Doctor of Divinity. He is concerned about enhancing the quality of life in Detroit and throughout all of Southeastern Michigan. |
